How It Works
Tax season is when the messy books show up. If your own bookkeeper is full, or a client’s records need more work than you have time for, I can take the bookkeeping off your plate and hand back numbers you can trust.
1. You send the client
Refer the client, or give them my name and number. I work with them directly, 100% online.
2. Free bookkeeping review
I go over their books and tell them what I see and what I would do to fix them. They get a quote before any work starts.
3. Clean books back to you
I catch up and reconcile the books, then send you the reports and answer your questions so you can file.

- A profit and loss statement and balance sheet you can work from

Who Does the Work
I’m Billy Eldridge, MBA, owner of BDE Bookkeeping Solutions LLC in Shelbyville, Tennessee. I’m a QuickBooks Online Certified ProAdvisor and Gusto Payroll Certified, with more than ten years of bookkeeping and payroll experience. I do the work myself, with no handoffs and no outsourcing. I work with businesses across Middle Tennessee and nationwide, all online.

Questions CPAs Ask
Do you prepare business tax returns?
No. BDE Bookkeeping Solutions does not prepare business tax returns. I keep the books clean and reconciled, and the tax work stays with you.
Will you try to take over my client?
No. I only do bookkeeping and payroll support. When the books are done, the client goes right back to you for their return.
How much does a cleanup cost my client?
Cleanup and catch-up work is quoted per business after a free bookkeeping review, because the price depends on how many months are behind, how many accounts there are and how many transactions need to be sorted. The client gets the quote before any work starts.
What software do you use?
QuickBooks Online is preferred. For payroll, I support QuickBooks Payroll and Gusto.
Do you work with clients outside Shelbyville?
Yes. Everything is handled online, so I work with businesses in Bedford County, across Middle Tennessee and nationwide. There are no office visits.
How long does a cleanup take?
It depends on how far behind the books are and whether records are missing. After the free review, the client gets a quote and a timeline before any work begins.
