- No in-person meetings. Video meetings over Google Meet, phone calls, screen sharing and email cover everything a visit would — usually faster, because there is no drive on either end.
- Nationwide. Based in Shelbyville and serving Middle Tennessee, but online means location is not a limit.
- Messages outside office hours are answered the next working day.

How quickly will I hear back?
Within one business day, and usually sooner. Billy answers messages himself, so you are not waiting on a queue or a call centre. If something is genuinely urgent, call (615) 438-2700 during office hours.
Do I need to be in Tennessee to work with you?
No. BDE Bookkeeping Solutions is an online practice. Shelbyville and Middle Tennessee are home, but the work is done remotely, so clients anywhere in the United States are handled exactly the same way.
Can I come to your office?
There is no walk-in office. This is a remote practice, so everything happens over video meetings on Google Meet, phone calls, screen sharing and secure file sharing. In practice that is faster for you than a meeting, and nothing about the service is reduced by it.
Is the bookkeeping review really free?
Yes. It is a look at where your books currently stand and a straight answer about what needs attention. There is no charge and no obligation to hire anyone afterwards.
What do you need from me to get started?
Usually just read-only access to your accounting file, or a recent set of statements if you are not on software yet. Nothing has to be tidy first — messy and behind is the normal starting point, not a problem.
My books are badly behind. Is that a problem?
No, and it is more common than you would think. Six months, two years, longer — it is all recoverable. The only thing being behind changes is how long the catch-up takes, so the sooner it is looked at the less it costs.
